Hose handling cranes for transpetro vessels
Celso Furtado and José Alencar delivered from Estaleiro Mauá. On Monday, December 12, Transpetro and Estaleiro Mauá launched the product Vessel José Alencar.
183 meters long and with capacity to transport 56 million liters of fuel, the José Alencar is the latest in a series of four merchant vessels ordered through the Transpetro Fleet Modernization and Expansion Program (Promef) at Estaleiro Mauá. The first, Celso Furtado, was delivered to Transpetro on November 25 and is already in operation. The other two vessels, Sérgio Buarque de Holanda and Rômulo Almeida, are in the final stages.
