The arrival is scheduled for the first week in November, and estimated length of the dock stay is one week.

During the stay, Safe Scandinavia will be mobilized for a new assignment in the winter months, and there will also be carried out different modifications and inspections.

Safe Scandinavia, previously named PolyCrown, was built in 1984 at the Aker Verdal yard to an Aker H-3.2E design. The rig has been operating many fields, starting out on Statfjord in the period of 1984 to 2000.

The floating accommodation rig has a maximum capacity of 583 beds, and was in April 2007 the first floating accommodation unit to be awarded Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority.
